Nollywood veteran actor, Emeka Ike has welcomed a baby girl on his birthday.
The actor who recently returned to screen after a long break took to his Instagram page to share the good news.
Celebrating his birthday, Emeka welcomed his newborn into the world and thanked God for filling the void in their hearts. He expressed gratitude for the blessing of a daughter, named after his late mother, following her loss.
He also expressed gratitude to his wife for relieving his pain with the precious gift of their daughter.
Captioning his post, he shared pictures of himself, his wife and the baby in the hospital. He revealed the name of the baby as Chidera Comfort Thando ike and urged netizens to join in their joy.
He wrote,
“IT A DOUBLE BLESSING FOR ONE LOSS
Happy BIRTHDAY to me and WELCOME to baby, Chidera COMFORT Thando Ike
The good LORD has filled the huge vacuum that Mama COMFORT Okwuchi Ike left behind, with another COMFORT Chidera T Ike
My family and l are COMFORTED and can’t ask for any better, these solemn times
Thank you to my beautiful wife for taking the pains, with this wonderful gift
I THANK YOU GOD!!!”.
