Nwakaego Iheanacho, better known as Ego who once served as the backup singer for legendary masked singer, Lagbaja, is presently in a state of grief following the passing of her husband, Niyi Ogbaro.
According to the publisher, Chris Kehinde Nwandu, Ego’s husband passed away in the United States of America.
Sharing the sad news, Chris Kehinde shared an old picture of the couple on his Instagram page. He expressed shock in his caption and also offered his condolences
Ego and her deceased husband tied the knot in 2009. While not much is known about their union, rumours of separation fueled their marriage as they reportedly lived separately for some time.
Ego and Lagbaja collaborated on his hits songs such as ‘Konko Below,’ ‘Nothing for You,’ and ‘Never Far Away’ before she decided to pursue a solo career.
