Canadian rapper Drake becomes the first artist ever to reach 100 billion streams on Spotify, solidifying his place as a global music powerhouse.
This groundbreaking achievement was announced by Chart Data, a leading music monitoring company, on Tuesday night.
Drake’s streaming dominance is undeniable! With over 100 billion streams on Spotify, he leaves the competition in the dust. Even Eminem, the rapper closest behind him, has less than half that number.
A closer examination of Drake’s streaming data reveals an impressive average of 234 million streams per song and 5 billion streams per album.
His chart-topping hit “One Dance,” featuring Wizkid and Kyla, takes the crown as his most streamed song on the platform, with an astonishing 3.2 billion streams. This song also holds the Guinness World Record for being the first to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify, solidifying Drake’s position as a trailblazer in the music industry.
