Music producer Dr. Dre and his wife, Nicole Young, have called it quits after 24 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Young, 50, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Monday, June 29, 2020. She and the acclaimed music producer, 55, tied the knot in 1996 and share two children; a son Truice, and a daughter Truly, but both of them are adults, this means the now-former couple will not have to deal with any child support issues.
What they will have to figure out now is to split up their massive $800 Million fortune. As you know, Dre is one of the most successful musicians in history, and recently sold his stake in ‘Beats’ headphones for Billions of dollars.
The rapper also has four children from previous relationships. Dr. Dre met Young in the mid-1990s while she was still married to then-husband Sedale Threatt. At the time, Dre reportedly penned a romantic letter to Young, convincing her to leave Threatt and pursue a relationship with him instead.
