Don’t overcharge brands – BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa advises 2022 set

BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa advises 2022 set

Uriel Oputa, a former Big Brother Naija 2017 housemate, has issued a piece of strong advice to her junior colleagues, BBN 2022 set.

Oputa took to her Instagram page to advise the latest set of the reality TV show to not overcharge brands.

This comes after news broke up that Level Up housemates were overcharging brands.

Blogger, Tosin Silverdam revealed the rate cards for one of the Level Up stars. He stated that brands have been complaining that the Big Brother Naija level-up housemates are too expensive to work with.

Part of the rate card for one of the housemates reads:

Instagram story post 500k,

Tiktok post 1 million,

Event Appearance 2.5 million,

Brand Activation 4.5 Million,

Instagram Live 1.5 million for 10 minutes.

Reacting to this, Oputa dished out words of advice to them using herself as an example.

She wrote:

“Word of advice to all the New BBN stars. Don’t overcharge brands. Longevity is key. Be reasonable so they use you again even when the next BBN stars come out. Always have a good attitude. Try to bring a personal touch to the brand, even if you have management. It’s not about Grabbing everything now. It’s about creating visibility for the near future”.
