Popular disc jockey, Florence Otedola, who is professionally known as DJ Cuppy had confirmed her break up with British boxer, Ryan Taylor.
In a tweet, the billionaire’s daughter confirmed she and her British boxer fiancé, Ryan Taylor, had gone their separate ways.
Bolanle Ninalowo & wife
Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo, who has been married to Bunmi for 16 years, announced his separation from her on September 1.
The couple got married in 2007 after meeting in 2004 and having a boy and a girl as children.
Prior to this, the actor and his spouse had reconciled in 2021 after splitting in 2019 due to allegations of infidelity.
He gave two reasons for the breakup: his mental health and his kids, Aliyah and Morakinyo.
Israel DMW
Following a lavish wedding in October 2022, Ms. Sheila and Davido’s logistics manager, Israel Afeare, also known as Israel DMW, divorced on November 25.
The news was posted on Israel DMW’s Instagram page. He disclosed that, despite his support throughout their marriage, Ms. Sheila had left their house on August 8.
Despite his kindness toward her and her family, he claimed his ex-wife had raised expectations for him by believing she had become famous on Instagram.
Sheila responded to her ex-husband’s accusations by saying that Israel DMW used their wedding as a means of personal financial gain. She claimed that Israel DMW had frequently prohibited her from leaving the house.
Ireti Doyle
Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle and seasoned broadcaster Patrick Doyle announced their divorce in January.
In an interview with Chude, Ms. Doyle declared that she was no longer wed to her spouse Patrick, with whom she had six children.
When Patrick lawfully wed Funmilayo on December 11, it was the last time he made headlines.
Stella Damasus
Actress Stella Damasus of Nollywood declared in August that her third marriage to Daniel Ademinokan was ending.
After two prior marriages, Stella got married in 2011, and she has been single and divorced for three years, according to a podcast interview with Teju Babyface.
The 45-year-old actress’s marriage was highly contentious before she formally announced her divorce.
Gumsu Abacha & Mai Mala Buni
In December, Gumsu Abacha, the second daughter of the late Nigerian Head of State, Sani Abacha, revealed her two-year marriage to the Governor of Yobe State, Mala Buni.
Ms Gumsu, on her X page (formerly Twitter), disclosed that she had left her marriage with Governor Buni. She married him as his fourth wife in March 2021.
Ms Gumsu was previously married to Cameroonian multi-billionaire Bayero Fadil Mohamadou. They separated in 2019 after nearly 20 years of marriage, during which they had five children.
The reason for the divorce is unknown, but there are speculations that she refused to relocate from Abuja to Yobe.
