What is the best way to block spam texts on WhatsApp?
Almost every media we use to communicate will be subject to spam at some point. Text messages, emails, social media, and messaging applications are all examples of communication methods. Yes, even WhatsApp is included.
Spam communications, aside from being extremely annoying, can be dangerous in that spammers frequently attempt to persuade you to give personal information or click on unsafe links. It’s difficult to find ways to entirely protect oneself against spam, but here are some things you can do to prevent and block spam on WhatsApp.
Contacts can be blocked or reported.
1. Navigate to the message thread containing the spam message (be careful not to click on any links within the message).
2. Select the contact at the top of the page.
3. Tap “Block Contact” at the bottom (to block) and “Report Contact” at the top (to report).
