Christian Dior Haute Couture 2022 collection brought light to the stage as it was everything we expected and more. The detailing of the entire collection was something to commend the designer for.
The fact that Christian Dior founded his couture firm immediately following World War II is the aspect of the designer’s origin narrative that feels the most current to Chiuri at the moment.

Along with beauty and hope for the customers, his garments also revitalized the lives of French workers across the supply chain. The Dior fashion house insisted on this throughout the pandemic. Was the epidemic going to force them to quit displaying or start exhibiting less? They weren’t, though. The development of collections and displays involves far too many skilled and independent workers to be abandoned.
The entire collection has a subdued romantic, less formal feeling. Additionally, Chiuri had reimagined Dior’s floral designs—his love of roses—and connected it in some way to the folk costume embroideries that served as the collection’s inspiration.
