Glamsquad reports that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson reportedly called it quits on their relationship after 9 months and decided to remain friends.
Pete, 28, and Kim, 41, made their relationship public nine months ago, after she made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, where he was a cast member at the time.
According to Page Six, Kim and Pete Davidson split earlier this week due to their age difference.
“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they’re just in very different places right now,” says the insider.
“Pete is completely spontaneous and impulsive, and he wants her to fly to New York or wherever he is at any time,” the source adds. “But Kim has four children, and it’s not that simple.” She must concentrate on the children.”
According to the source, Kardashian, who owns several businesses and hosts a reality show, is “totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
According to insiders, while the couple has “a lot of love and respect for each other,” the long distance dynamic and their demanding schedules “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.” The breakup happened this week.
Pete spent part of the summer in Australia working on the film Wizards! Kim is still raising four children with her ex-husband Kanye West: North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint.
“The divorce with Kanye is proceeding,” another insider tells E! News. “They are co-parenting happily.”
The couple, who made their Instagram debut in March and red carpet debut in May, have been romantically linked since October 2021.
Kim’s split from Pete comes as she is still working out the legal details of her divorce from Kanye West, her third husband and the father of her children.
