Dele Momodu conferred with honorary citizenship in Georgia

Glamsquad reports that Veteran Nigerian journalist and publisher Dele Momodu has been conferred with honorary citizenship of Georgia, in the United States of America.

Momodu who is now a politician took to his Instagram page to share a picture of the certificate as he appreciated the state for the kind gesture towards him.

He wrote,

“Though I couldn’t personally receive this honor in Atlanta, Georgia, most sincerely appreciate the thoughtfulness and kind gestures behind it”.

The was certificate signed by Georgia’s Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger. It further described Momodu as an outstanding citizen who is to be afforded every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia in his travels to other states, to nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever he may hereafter travel or reside.

Honorary citizenship is a status bestowed by a city or other government on a foreign or native individual whom it considers to be especially admirable or otherwise worthy of the distinction.

His friends and families have taken to his Instagram comments to congratulate him.
