Davido feature on King Charles III’s Commonwealth Music playlist

David Adedeji Adeleke, better known as Davido has earned a spot on British monarch King Charles III’s curated music playlist, solidifying his place among Nigeria’s finest artists.

This comes after King Charles III unveiled his diverse musical taste in *The King’s Music Room*, a new Apple Music show recorded in his Buckingham Palace office.

The playlist showcases a blend of disco, reggae, and Afrobeats, featuring artists from across the Commonwealth, including Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, Davido, and Raye.

Throughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also the case for so many others,” Charles III said.

He added: “So this is what I particularly wanted to share – songs which have brought me joy.

“This seemed such an interesting and innovative way to celebrate this year’s Commonwealth Day.”
