Glamsquad recalls that In a recent foreign interview, Davido issued a warning to Black Americans considering relocation to Africa, cautioning that life on the continent isn’t as glamorous as it seems, citing economic struggles. However, he clarified that his intent wasn’t to disparage Africa but to highlight its beauty while leaving out the harsher realities.
His remarks sparked backlash from notable figures like Reno Omokri, Patrick Doyle, Akashat Nymat, and others, who criticized him for what they perceived as unflattering comments about the continent.
Addressing the criticism, Davido fired back, claiming that their outrage stems from his status as the true African ambassador.
