Grammy-Awards nominee, David Adeleke better known as Davido remembers his late mother as he celebrates her posthumous birthday.

The singer’s mother, Vero Adeleke, passed away in 2003 at the age of 40. Today would have marked her 61st birthday.

Davido took to X to wish his mother a happy birthday, sharing how deeply he misses and loves her.

Davido’s fans took to his comment section to wish her a happy heavenly birthday.

“Happy birthday Mommy. Love and miss you”.

Glamsquad recalls that during his traditional wedding in June, Davido honored his late mother, who hailed from Edo State, by donning an Edo-inspired traditional attire as part of his second wedding outfit. His personal logistics manager played a key role in preparing him for the occasion.

A month later, Davido shared a throwback photo of his mother in her younger years, fondly describing her as a “baddie.”

On her posthumous birthday two years ago, the singer had lovingly referred to her as a “sweet mother,” reflecting the enduring bond he shares with her memory.
