Nigerian singer, Oyindamola Johnson Emmanuel, better known as Dammy Krane, has once again called out his colleague, David Adedeji Adeleke, known as Davido, over the death of his former friend and aide, Tagbo Umeike.
Dammy Krane took to his Instagram and Twitter pages to make bold claims, asserting that Davido wouldn’t dare take him to court, as it would reopen the case surrounding Tagbo’s death, potentially revealing hidden truths.
He emphasized that a clear conscience has nothing to fear, implying confidence in his stance.
“Y’ALL SEE Davido CAN’T TAKE ME TO COURT BECAUSE TAGBO’S D£@TH CASE WILL BE OPENED & THE TRUTH WILL BE KNOWN. Ps: Clear conscience fears no Accusation”.
Dammy Krane and Davido’s unending feud
Over the years, Davido and Dammy Krane have been embroiled in a public feud, sparked by Dammy Krane’s accusation that Davido owes him money.
Davido defended himself by pointing to his past support for Dammy, including providing him with accommodation when he was in need. But Dammy Krane insists that these gestures don’t erase the financial debt he claims is still outstanding.
In a shocking escalation just days before Davido’s wedding in June, Dammy Keane accused the singer of murder, alleging that he was responsible for the death of his late friend, Tagbo.
Dammy Krane’s remarks soon landed him in hot water when Davido’s lawyer issued a 24-hour ultimatum, demanding that he retract all offensive statements posted on social media. The lawyer also warned Dammy to cease making any further defamatory remarks against Davido or face legal consequences.
In August, Dammy was arrested and prepared to face criminal charges for defamation and slander. However, Davido eventually decided to drop all charges, leading to Dammy’s release.
In his first public statement following the ordeal, Dammy expressed gratitude to influencer Very Dark Man. He acknowledged that he had said many things he shouldn’t have and extended an apology for his words.
