David Hundeyin slams South African man for mocking Chidimma over Miss Universe contest

Award-winning Nigerian Journalist, David Hundeyin has slammed a man for celebrating Chidimma Adetshina’s inability to secure the 2024 Miss Universe crown.

Glamsquad recalls that Chidimma stepped down from the Miss South Africa contest despite being a Top 11 Finalist after the South African Department of Home Affairs accused her mother of potential fraud and identity theft and backlash from South Africans.

Consequently, she was invited by the organisers of Miss Universe Nigeria to contest in the 2024 beauty pageant which she won.

Chidimma went on to represent the country at the recently concluded Miss Universe 2024 competition held in Sunday, November 17, in Mexico.

Surprisingly, she made history as the first Africa and Nigerian to secure the position of first runner-up at the international competition. She outshine 120 contestants from across the globe.

Reacting, a South African man expressed delight that Chidimma “failed” and stated that as long as she didn’t win, they were satisfied.

David swiftly swung into action in defence of Chidimma. He heavily slammed the south African, listed out the benefits attached to the position of a first runner up

@ApheleleJody said: “As long as it is not Chidimma Adetshina who won Miss Universe 2024 , we good 😂”

In reaction, David Hundeyin wrote,

“Her package as first runner up includes $100,000 cash, a 1-year lease on a luxury apartment in New York, a $3m diamond-encrusted crown and connections and contacts to kick off a successful career in modelling and showbiz.

Your package as a guy who wears pink boxers on his Twitter display pic is that you get to keep posting and lusting over semi-nude photos of Jason DeRulo who will never notice that you exist, while the only thing you will accomplish with your life is that the vagina you tumbled out of belongs to a C-list actress in a South African soap that nobody under the age of 43 has ever watched. Chidimma’s life is far better than yours.”
