Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande has issued a cease and desist to faceless blogger, Gistlover.
This comes after Gistlover alleged that Dakore-Egbuson, Ini Edo, Wanneka, Hilda Baci, Nancy Isemi and several others had romantic affairs with Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.
Reacting, Dakore shared a video to debunk the allegations. She emphasized that what is being spread about her is a “wicked lie” from the pit of hell.
The mother of two noted that she has never met Godswill Akpabio and had no reason to be in a room with him.
She vowed not to take the allegations lightly, and threatened to take legal action against Gistlover and promised five million Naira to anyone with evidence that she had any link with Godswill Akpabio.
In a new development, Dakore through her lawyers filed a cease and desist against Gistlover.
In the documents shared on her page, her lawyers asked the blogger to refrain immediately from making further defamatory comments about Dakore which are punishable under section 375 of the Nigerian criminal code act and also retract all the allegations published.
Gistlover is advised in its best interest to comply with the demands or face legal actions which include seeking damages, and legal costs incurred due to the defamation.

In other news, Ini Edo and Wanneka have debunked allegations of the affair.
Ini shared pictures of herself and noted that she is not bothered about the drama.
Wanneka put out a lengthy statement to prove her innocence. She refuted all the allegations made against her by Gistlover. The mother of three stated that she has no connections with Godswill Akpabio and advised the blogger to reexamine its research as they were mistaken.
Wanneka also emphasized that she has been a married woman for almost all her life, even before moving to Lagos, and she can justify every penny she earns. She also highlighted that she built her company from the ground up and expressed her view that such accusations are disrespectful not only to her but to every hardworking woman out there.
Senator Godswill Akpabio reacted by limiting comments from social media users on his Instagram page.
