Cynthia Morgan reveals why she has refused to reach out to Burna Boy

Nigerian former dancehall singer, Cynthia Morgan, now rebranded as Madrina, has addressed her estranged relationship with Burna Boy.

In an Instagram story, Cynthia Morgan shared her thoughts on the ongoing pressure to reach out to Burna Boy. She explained that she believes the Grammy-winning artist is still upset with her for not believing his denial of impregnating Uju Stella in 2016. Cynthia pointed out how men often lie in such situations and get angry when they’re not believed.

She also highlighted that Burna Boy later admitted to the truth online, eight years later. In her post, Cynthia urged people to leave her alone, expressing that she wishes Burna the best moving forward.

“For those of you sending me messages to reach out to Burna Boy, I wouldn’t. If it was me, I would reach out but he is probably still mad I didn’t believe he didn’t impregnate Uju Stella in 2016. That’s what most men do. They lie and get mad when you don’t believe them.
Something he finally admitted to online 8 years later. Ya, all, leave me alone.
All the best Damini”.

A few day ago, Cynthia reacted to Burna Boy’s ongoing beef with Cubana, offering advice to him and other colleagues. She urged them to stop settling for less and accepting meager fees. Drawing from her own experience, Cynthia recalled how in 2018, musician Maleke paid her a million naira to perform at his concert, only to later claim that she had asked him out and was stalking him.

In other news, Cynthia Morgan called out the music industry for its fake love and friendships. She expressed that people only remember you when you’re trending or when they need your help with a project. Reflecting on her own struggles, Cynthia shared that during her crisis, only two people reached out to her, while many others, especially those she had worked with, turned their backs on her.
