Court unfreezes Flutist, Tee Mac’s account

Flutist, Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli, better known as Tee Mac has been granted permission by the high court for all his account to be unfreezed.

Recall that on January 10, 2022, Justice Daniel Osiagor issued an order blocking Tee Mac’s accounts with several commercial banks in Nigeria due to an alleged obligation that the association that was once led by him owed to the now-defunct Afribank Plc.

The exparte application Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria AMCON made against the defendants resulted in the order.

The court also permitted an order striking out the name of the veteran musician from the suit as there was no reasonable cause of action against him.

In addition the banks where he maintained accounts were also discharged from the order.
