The Chief Magistrate Court in Ikorodu has issued an order for Omowunmi, the widow of the late singer Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, to be served with notice of the pending DNA test application.

Emmanuel Oroko, leading the legal team, informed the court that the court’s Sheriff had made two unsuccessful attempts to serve Wunmi with the court documents. He argued that serving her at her last known address would be considered adequate service, ensuring she is informed about the pending lawsuit.

The case has been adjourned to a later date.

Surprisingly, Mohbad’s father joined the bandwagon to call out his daughter-in-law to demand a DNA test.

In response to her father-in-law’s demand, Wunmi asked that he get a court order for a DNA test to be done. Months later, she made a U-turn and made it known that she wouldn’t be doing a DNA test for her son.

Stating her reasons, Wunmi said no one has the right to tell her to do it as she added that her son would never fall victim like his dad.
