A surge of anger has engulfed the Instagram page of Nigerian music icon, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, following reports of his significant financial contribution to Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
Fans, feeling deceived and shocked, have expressed their outrage, inundating his social media with fierce criticism.
The commotion ensued after Bobrisky’s revelation, where he openly expressed his appreciation for the male celebrities who donated a total of N30.6 million to him, acknowledging their substantial support.

This was after he had already caused quite a stir by honoring top female celebrities, including Tonto Dikeh and Funke Akindele, who had collectively contributed N18.7 million to his cause.
But the real shocker came when Bobrisky decided to turn the spotlight on the men who stood by him, revealing some heavy hitters: Mavin Records’ own Don Jazzy allegedly sent a jaw-dropping N4 million, football sensation Victor Osimhen pitched in with N3 million, actor Yhemo Lee chipped in N1.5 million, and socialite Abu Abel added N1 million to the mix.

The male celebrities mentioned in Bobrisky’s list have been subjected to intense scrutiny, with Don Jazzy receiving the brunt of it. His fans have expressed their outrage, viewing his actions as a departure from traditional values.
They have initiated a vehement verbal attack, accusing him of endorsing the normalization of homosexuality in Nigeria.
Following the controversy, Verydarkman (VDM) launched a scathing attack on Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, and a host of celebrities for their financial support of Bobrisky.
VDM was outspoken, fiercely criticizing them on social media and challenging them to defend the questionable moral values that led to their endorsement of a crossdresser.
