Reality star, Mike Edwards has made history at the Common Wealth ‘Friendly Games’ which is actually a quadrennial international multi-sport.
Taking to his Instagram to share the happy event he stated how excited he was to have represented Nigeria.
It was a big honor for the reality star to finally represent Nigeria and the entire African Continent in the 22nd Commonwealth Games, despite not winning a medal.
In the men’s high jump final at the competition in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Mike Edwards jumped a height of 2.19m. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, he placed sixth.

Edward posted a video of the occasion on social media to mark his accomplishment and wrote:
“SPOTLIGHT. BIG STAGE HISTORY WAS MADE.
What an honor to finally represent Nigeria 🇳🇬 and the entire African Continent at the Commonwealth Games 6th in the final and so many emotions to put in words. Thank you all for taking this journey with me Season ‘22 #JobFinished ”
