Jidenna has been tapped for an exclusive feature with famous American digital publication, known as Inked Magazine.
The US-based Nigerian musician in a sit-down interview with Inked discusses the critic’s views on his latest album, what he wants fans to take away from his messages, ow he sat through receiving a tattoo for over a full day and much more.
“The ideas I have don’t come in overnight and in one album cycle. They don’t come in two years. They come over the decades, and I’ve lived over the decades. Since a boy, I’ve lived as a person amongst different neighbourhoods. The neighbourhoods I talk about. So absolutely! [laughs] I feel more than prepared. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t open my mouth. I was a quiet boy, shy and reserved. Now I’m speaking.” Jidenna tells Inked about his music. Read the full interview here.
