The brunch started portentously. The appointed time was 12 pm. However, the event did not commence until 2:26 pm, when people began mounting their plates with spaghetti, rice, plantain, chicken, and more chicken – A buffet. The star-studded event took place at the Sky Lounge, Eko Hotel, and Suites, Lagos.
More guests trickled and were directed to a flower-Ciroc bottle decor space, taking selfies, videos and being photographed. Ladies in their dresses, palazzo pants, stiletto sandals, and bags swinging their shoulders – oozed luxury. The gentlemen were less flamboyant: kaftans and blazers were their uniforms.
At 3:00 pm, Joe Nazzal introduced the compare; Bovi. Bovi ensemble in a lush pink suit, and tan derby shoes. Ten minutes after, Banky W accompanied Bovi with a poise entrance while he sang his latest single, Blessing Me. Banky had a tan blazer, matching muffler hung on his neck, his signature fedora hats, and Christian Louboutin tassel loafers.
Banky who renewed his contract with the ultra-premium would be strutting into the Third Year with the brand.
He, Banky unveiled Toke and Tekno as the latest ambassadors for the celebratory brand. Both new signees were unveiled in grand style. An enclosed cubicle had its door move up, and each celebrity was behind.
The event came to a close a little past 5 pm.
