Having premiered on the runway for Simone Rocha during London Fashion Week last month, it seems that Chloë Sevigny is lovingly taking the designer’s work for a spin on the red carpet, too. The all-round style legend – who joined Lily Cole and Marie Sophie Wilson for Rocha’s autumn/winter 2019 show – has long triumphed in the style stakes, especially when it comes to red carpet events. Her friendship with Rocha has been a long-standing one, and only further cemented by her joining Rocha’s diverse line-up of real women. “This collection I was thinking about security, privacy and intimacy. That made me think of the human body and I thought it was really important to show it on all these different bodies,” Rocha told Vogue of the casting.
In The Act, the New York-based actor takes on the role of Mel for the seasonal anthology TV series. Written by Nick Antosca and Michelle Dean and directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre, the series is based on Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who murdered her mother Dee Dee Blanchard in 2015.
