Prof. James Nwoye Adichie, the father of international writer and renowned author, Chimamanda Adichie, is dead.
Adichie passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday night at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu, Anambra state. He was 88.
He was an Emeritus Professor of Statistics and Mathematics at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN).
