Before Yetunde Bakare entered the Nollywood industry, she worked as a model. She has appeared for First Weekly Magazine and other major magazines across the country. While working for First Weekly Magazine, she makes friend with media personality Kanbi Owolabi, who introduced her to Nollywood stars. Shortly thereafter, she met the best Yoruba actor, Yomi Fash Lanso, and began to follow him on film sets. She was doing this to learn how to act. She made her appearance in the film ‘Awon Okunrin’, which was produced by lead actress Funke Akindele.
The project was launched in 2011 Gboku Gboku, Alani Baba Labake, Super Moms and many more. She is also a film producer and has worked on a considerable number of projects over the past ten years. Some of her works are; Sisi Caro, Ibaje, Asiyan, Atunbotan, Mariwo and Arinola. As an actress, she has worked with outstanding artists such as Fausat Balogun, Yomi Fash Lanso, Sola Kosoko, Baba Suwe, Lanko Omo Dubia, Afeez Eniola, Jide Kosoko, Odunlade Adekola, Funke Akindele, among others.
