Check Out The Super-Duper Look Of RMD On His 61st Birthday

Nollywood veteran actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo better known as RMD celebrates his 61st birthday today, 6th July 2022.

The father of five who looks stunning always took to his Instagram page to share his pictures while he expressed his gratitude for the grace bestowed on him.

He noted that birthdays are a chance to look back and forward and reflect on one’s life.

The award-winning legend who once served as the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Delta State also expressed his gratitude for family, staff, friends and business partners and the hands in the creative industry that has given him so much joy and opportunities to shoot his shot!

He wrote,

“This is 61 and counting! Super grateful and thankful for God’s grace upon my life. Birthdays are a chance to look back and forward and all I see is God’s grace upon the life of this shy warri boy that said yes to life.

“Grateful for family, staff, friends and business partners and the hands in the creative industry that have given me so much joy and opportunities to shoot my shot! To all July babies BIG ENERGY all through this perfect month.”

Glamsquad recalls that in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, RMD opened up on fighting the spectre of death in his life since he turned 59 years old.

He revealed that none of his parents lived up to 60 years and turning 60 meant that life just started for him.

He said when he turned 59 years, it was a big deal for him considering his mother died at age 59, and his father died at 57/58, which made him question how he could break the cycle.

Some of his awards include the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2005.
He played a major role in Kemi Adetiba’s ‘The Wedding Party’ and also in several movies such as ‘Love is War’, ‘Blood & Oil’, ‘Chief Daddy’, ‘Hush’, ’10 Days in Suncity’ and many others.

RMD who has been in the movie industry since 1980 received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2016.
