Remember that the nation’s capital was rocked by a wave of protests after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of the presidential election on February 25th.

The other two major contenders in the election; Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party rejected the results.

As a result, their supporters took to the streets to protest President-elect Bola Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29.

While praising the protest’s peaceful nature, Charly Boy expressed regret for not joining the protesters.

He explained that he couldn’t attend due to health issues.

The self-proclaimed Area Fada, however, promised to lead the “mother of all rallies” next week, revealing that he is recovering speedily.

“Courageous Youths, I appreciate you all for the peaceful way you’ve conducted yourselves in the Abuja ongoing rally so far,” Charly Boy wrote in a tweet on Monday.
But for my medical issue, I would have joined you all.”

“However, I’m recovering quickly, and hopefully by next week I’ll be joining you all for the mother of all rallies,” he added.

“They will never mess with our mandate.
“The fathers.”
