A notable annual event, Njiko carnival, which has Mr Charles Oputa a.k.a Charly Boy as official face, was recently held in Imo State.
An important part of Njiko Carnival’s core mission is the youth and women empowerment in the 5 south-eastern states in Nigeria(Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi).
A new set of 50 women within the region were given a soft loan of N50, 000 with the aim of showing support to their petty sole businesses. In addition, Unilever showed massive support by donating top brands from their stable to everyone.
Charly Boy said he will continue to do more to make the burden light for the people involved.
