At Haute Couture Week, Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2023 Haute Couture Collection debuted alongside other incredible labels. However, the fashion house distinguished out from other brands thanks to their unique brand touch, which has assisted them in maintaining a solid reputation for so long.
The fashion show which was done in what seem like an open theatre with white big bright light hanging over the stage provided for the models. The beautiful stage which was decorated by French artist, Xavier Veilhan in an animal cardboard pattern will be remembered in history.
Tweed skirt sets and dresses are embellished with kittens, dogs, bunnies, birds, deer, and other animals that express Coco Chanel’s whimsy throughout the collection. Supersized animal miniatures constructed of cardboard, paper, and wood that line the runway serve as a visual representation of the collection’s elements and speak to themes of youth and innocence.
Chanel regulars Vanessa Paradis, Marion Cotillard, and Charlotte Casiraghi sat first row at the event, along with more recent additions like Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink and Apple Martin, the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin.
