Cardi B has purchased a new home for her family, only weeks after her husband Offset gave her a $1.5 million Dominican Republic investment property as a birthday present in October.

The 29-year-old rapper and mother of two announced on Instagram on Tuesday that she had purchased a property in New York City. She tweeted a photo of herself posing inside her new home in her ‘home city’ to celebrate finally having a home of her own.
“These days I don’t just live one place, I’m everywhere due to my work,” Cardi captioned the photo. “One thing for sure I needed a home in my home city of NY! I’m soo proud of myself. I work so hard for my children to be comfortable everywhere they are regardless of work.”
She went on to say that she and her husband, Offset, have always wanted to live in New York. The couple also has properties in Atlanta and Los Angeles.
“Now having a home in NY, I can have get togethers with my family all the time!!” she concluded. “I have accomplished so many things yet I still feel far from all the goals I want to accomplish. This is one dream I can cross off…..Let me know if ya’ll want a mini tour!”
