Her 2017 hit Bodak Yellow has been certified diamond after it went 10-times platinum and sold 10 million units.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) took to Twitter on Tuesday to congratulate the hitmaker on her latest achievement.
Cardi also took to her Instagram page to appreciate fans for making this possible.
She shared that a few years ago she didn’t have an idea what a diamond record meant and the only thing she wanted was to break into the industry but today the record that changed her life has been certified platinum.
