He reached this milestone after breaking a tie with Tems, with the debut of “We Pray” by Coldplay featuring him, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel on the chart this week.
‘We Pray’ debuted at No. 87 on this week’s Hot 100, increasing Burna Boy’s entries on the chart to six.
Tems currently holds five entries on the chart, while Wizkid, the first Nigerian artist to debut, has four. Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay each have one entry.
Burna Boy is now just one song away from breaking Seether’s record, which would make him the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries of all time.
