In an Instagram story, Burna Boy revealed that his dislike for receiving gifts stems from the way the world has shaped his experiences. While he doesn’t accept gifts from outsiders, he expressed his love for giving gifts. However, he made it clear that he does receive presents, but only from his family.
“This world made me not like receiving gifts from people, but I love giving gifts. As for family members, I will most definitely accept your gifts, so no use this post take whine una sef”.
A month ago, Burna Boy explained why he can’t give away millions of dollars to his fans. The Grammy-winning artist shared that while he doesn’t need most of his possessions and could easily donate large sums, he refrains from doing so because he dislikes the dynamics of social media and the way people interact on it.

He shared how, growing up, he believed only politicians and oil magnates were the true money makers. However, he now finds himself richer than 90% of those he once admired.
