Fuji musician Remi Aluko claims that Afrobeats performers are “stealing” from the genre.

He claims Afrobeats artists have taken a lot from Fuji, particularly chorus rhythms.
The fuji star specifically referenced Burna Boy, claiming that his stage performance was inspired by fuji.
In a recent interview with Echo Room, Aluko stated: “Afrobeats artists are stealing from Fuji music.” They understand that.
“They copied a lot of stuff from Fuji Music. Fuji music provided a portion of the chorus for an Afrobeats song. Burna Boy, for example, has a completely distinct stage presentation that is influenced by Fuji.”
