Last week was Facebook’s F8 developer conference where they announced a whole host of new features across all their platforms.These included the ability to allow third party apps like Spotify post to your Instagram story, an Instagram video calling feature for both one to one and group video. Plus a new explore page using a new algorithm to predict content you might like.
However what they didn’t announce and what we’re most excited about is in app payments on Instagram.Multiple reports have suggested Instagram are already testing in app payments, with users adding credit or debit cards and being able to purchase from within the app. Still officially unconfirmed but it will no doubt merge perfectly with Instagram’s new shoppable posts.
