Bolaji Ogunmola fumes as she calls out content stealers on YouTube

Nollywood actress, Bolaji Ogunmola has taken a stand against content theft on YouTube and other social media platforms.

Promoting her latest film on Instagram, Ogunmola delivered a stern warning to individuals engaging in copyright infringement.

Bolaji emphasized the large amount of money she has spent to create high-quality content. She shared her frustration over the challenges caused by content theft and vowed to take steps to protect her work.

“To all the thumbnail stealers and content stealers, especially on YouTube. I am ready for you people on this particular project. The amount of money spent on these contents, you have no idea, and I have constantly suffered setbacks because of you people. Not this time; I will drag you, people, call you out, and order takedown. Y’all want to be moving mad”.

Bolaji Ogunmola isn’t alone in speaking out against content theft. Last week, Funke Akindele, following the premiere of her highly anticipated movie Everybody Loves Jenifa, voiced her concerns about the alarming rate of piracy in Nollywood.

The box office queen urged Nigerians to take a stand against piracy, which she described as a major threat to the industry. Funke highlighted the immense effort and resources she poured into her latest project, emphasizing that she continues to invest in its success.

In other news, Bolaji Ogunmola opens up about keeping a small circle of friends.

In a recent video on her YouTube channel, the actress explained her preference for a limited social circle, prioritizing quality over quantity. While she has many colleagues and acquaintances. She said

The actress also shared her thoughts on helping others, encouraging viewers to give without expecting anything in return.

“When you are helping people, never think of what you are going to get in return. As human beings, we have a bit of entitlement when it comes to helping people. ‘Oh, I gave this person something.’ If you are going to do it with the expectation of something in return, I don’t think that is kindness.”
