Controversial relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro better known as Blessing CEO has tendered an apology to the family of the late Bimbo Martins, the deceased wife of the auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna better known as IVD.
Glamsquad recalls that Bimbo Martins passed away two years following alleged domestic violence involving her husband. Following this, IVD was fingered in the death of his wife and was dragged mercilessly by his in-laws and social media users.
Amidst the turmoil, Blessing CEO publicly defended IVD against Bimbo’s family and Netizens. She stated that she was IVD’s therapist. It was also suspected that they dated briefly after IVD boldly flaunted Blessing’s name on his hand tattoo.
Following this, Bimbo’s family dragged IVD to court for the alleged domestic violence that resulted in their daughter’s death. Blessing CEO was also dragged to court for libel and slander against Bimbo and her family.
In October 2023 Blessing CEO and IVD fell out over an alleged debt involving singer, Davido, who was in the news for owing debts.
Blessing CEO weighed into Davido’s debt scandal and alleged that Davido owed IVD N4.5 million naira. In response to these claims, IVD publicly denied any financial dispute with Davido, stating that he remains on good terms with the music superstar.
Angered by his statement, Blessing released a voice note where IVD expressed how heartbroken he was that all his efforts to reach out to Davido to pay his debt were futile.
Reacting, IVD apologized to Blessing CEO for not keeping her informed, claiming that the singer had paid him.
Blessing CEO tenders apology to late Bimbo’s family
In a shocking new development, Blessing CEO has tendered a heartfelt apology to late Bimbo’s family.
Acknowledging the pain and suffering caused to the Martins family, Blessing CEO expressed remorse for her previous stance on the matter.
She admitted that her lack of understanding at the time may have led to misguided actions and words that could have hurt the family. Setting the record straight, Blessing CEO clarified that before the controversy, she had no personal connection with IVD.
Captioning her post, She wrote
“Apologies to the Martin’s family. It took me 2 years to understand grieve and pain,
I will never be too big to say I am sorry when I do wrong .. the the Martins family I say k am sorry .
It all peace , we learn everyday and a lot can be said out of i ignorance. MAY the gentile soul of Mrs Abimbola ogbonna Martins rest in peace .
To the general public if | have hurt you in anyway, I am sorry . Tomorrow is my birthday and I jut want to be at peace with everybody .
I love you all”
