Pius Mayanja, better known as Pallaso, is a prominent Ugandan singer, songwriter, record producer, and cinematographer who was born on September 5, 1987. He rose to prominence in the year 2000.
Pallaso has a distinct musical style that distinguishes him from other Ugandan singers, and he writes his songs not only in Kiswahili and Luganda, but also in English.
He was born in a hospital in Kawempe, Kampala, and lived the majority of his life there with his family.
