In Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria, Qdot Alagbe was born on the 30th of April 1988. As the first child of his father and mother, he comes from a large, dysfunctional family. He considers himself a half-Ibadan, half-Lagos lad despite being raised in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Qdot Alagbe is a well-known and respected musician in Nigeria. He began making music in high school, first in rap and then in commercial music. When he released his debut single “Story of My Life” in 2010, he officially began his music career. It goes without saying that throughout his career, he has collaborated with several renowned producers like D’tunes, Antra and Indomix and Citi Boi. Qdot Alagbe, often known as “Yorubboi Music,” is a beloved indigenous Yoruba artist whose music has survived over the years.

Qdot Alagbe has also performed and collaborated with some of Nigeria’s most well-known musicians, including Seriki, Olamide, Patoranking, and Jhybo. He first gained notoriety in 2013 with the release of his hit track “Alomo meta,” which was quickly followed by an excellent performance in 2014. He then launched the hit single “Ibadan,” which featured Olamide.

With the release of the top-charting single “Ibeere” (Question) and an accompanying video directed by HG2, Qdot maintained his momentum in 2014. “Turn Up” and “La La Lu,” both featuring Lil Kesh, were released by Qdot Alagbe in 2016.

In 2015, Nigerian pop freestyle artist Qdot Alagbe achieved enormous success with his release of the tune “Alhaji.” He once appeared on “My World,” a Fuji artist Hip-hop album by Pasuma, as a guest rapper. “Olohun Oje,” one of the album’s fan favourites and the popular song, featured him. Prior to his contract expiration, Qdot had signed with Omo Ita Entertainment’s record label.
