Beyoncé crowned most RIAA certified female artist in history

Music icon Beyoncé has solidified her legacy as the most certified female artist in history through the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

This milestone follows the recent certification of several of her songs, bringing her total to an impressive 103 RIAA-certified titles.

The organization honored her achievement with a celebratory post on microbogging platform, X.

RIAA tweeted

“Crowning achievement! Congratulations to @Beyonce, who now holds the record for the most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA history, including her first two Diamond singles!”

Beyoncé’s remarkable career is adorned with numerous prestigious certifications, including her iconic hits Halo and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It), which recently achieved Diamond status.

Additionally, her albums Renaissance and Lemonade have earned 2x Platinum and 4x Platinum certifications, respectively. Meanwhile, her earlier classics, I Am… Sasha Fierce and Dangerously in Love, have reached an impressive 7x Platinum status.

Meanwhile three weeks ago, Beyoncé was crowned the greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard.

This prestigious recognition celebrates her unparalleled influence and groundbreaking contributions to modern pop music. Claiming the second spot is Taylor Swift, the pop powerhouse known for her record-breaking albums and an impressive catalog of chart-topping hits.

Securing the third spot is Rihanna, the billionaire Barbadian sensation celebrated for her versatile career and impactful contributions to music and fashion.

Canadian rapper Drake takes the fourth spot, while Lady Gaga secures fifth place with her groundbreaking, genre-defying artistry.

Rounding out the top 10 are global icons Britney Spears, Kanye West, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and British powerhouse Adele, all of whom have left an indelible mark on 21st-century pop music.
