Yesterday, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 was the birthday of Nigerian rapper Olamide.
The YBNL Baddo received a ton of greetings from everyone. American entertainment channel BET also decided to send their warm greetings to the top Nigerian rapper. The only problem was that their birthday shout out was totally wrong.
BET tweeted a birthday message to Olamide but the accompanying photo was not Olamide. It was a black man playing a guitar on stage. How embarrassing.
As expected the YBNL nation trolled BET for the humiliating mistake. Nigerians blasted them for not knowing who Olamide is. You can see some of the tweets below;
