Bella Hadid has long championed the style of dressing popular in the decade of her birth, and her latest look proves she isn’t going to let the arrival of 2020 change that.
At the Louis Vuitton autumn/winter 2020 menswear show on Thursday, the 23-year-old model arrived in a look that could have been plucked from the set of a ‘90s music video: an ab-flashing crop top emblazoned with the house’s signature monogram.
But if one element really confirmed the influence of the decade that was, it was Bella’s beauty look.
Adding to the ’90s mood, Bella wore a slicked-back updo complete with “spiky bits” (remember those?!), while the front of her hair was pure nostalgia, thanks to the centre parting and two strands left loose to frame the model’s face.
On the make-up front, Bella opted for matte brown on matte brown, wearing shadow and lipstick in the throwback finish.
The model wasn’t the only famous face to step out in support of Virgil Abloh at the Paris show. Luka Sabbat, Kris Wu, Tyga, and Daniel Kaluuya also watched from the front row.
