Big Brother Naija former housemate, Pere Egbi has opened up on what initially attracted him to his fellow BBNaija All Stars ex-housemate, Mercy Eke.
Pere, a former U.S. military man in an interview on Sabi Radio with his junior colleague, Miracle OP stated that the primary factors that drew him to Mercy was her unwavering faith and deep love for God.
He said that he often saw Mercy Eke reading her Bible when they were in the Big Brother house, and this really stuck with him.
Pere confirmed that he liked how devoted she was to her faith. He remembered times when she wanted to pray, even as they became closer during their time in the house.
Pere emphasized that Mercy’s deep commitment to her faith played a crucial role in forming a connection between them because he shared a profound love for God as well. They bonded over their shared spiritual beliefs and values, which brought them closer during their time together

“On the bed was a small bible; that night, I took a peak in the blue room and she was reading the bible. When you see Mercy, you won’t think she’s the type of person who is that spiritual with God. And every time, you see her praying every day.”
