In what served as a disappointment for social media users, Basketmouth and Mix Vick have indeed begun the next chapter of their life.
Glamsquad reported that Basketmouth hinted at finding love again as he set to unveil his mystery woman.
On his Instagram page, Basketmouth shared loved-up pictures of himself with as Miz Vick who appeared to have a ring on her fourth finger.
He urged everyone to expect a big announcement from him. Which many anticipated.
In his latest post, the ace comedian shared a new video, explaining that his previous update was intended to build anticipation for his upcoming feature-length film, co-written and produced by Miz Vick.
Basketmouth revealed that his new movie, titled “A Ghetto Love Story,” is set to release in November. He clarified that he and Miz Vick are not romantically involved, but are simply business partners. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Akah Nnani, Beverly Osu, Patience Ozorkwo, Wale Ojo, Daniel Etim Effiong, and Genoveva Umeh, among others. See his post below:

Basketmouth is currently divorced, having been separated from his wife for nearly two years.
Despite the public knowledge of their split, they managed to keep the details of their separation relatively private, avoiding much drama or speculation.
However, Instagram blogger, Cutie Jules claimed that a Mix Vick was allegedly involved in the breakdown of Basketmouth’s marriage.
According to the blogger, the two had been having an affair and continued their relationship after his separation from his wife and mother of his children.
Basketmouth has left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry. His breakthrough came in 2000 when he appeared in the music video for “Gra Gra” by Nigerian Afrobeat icon Lagbaja. Starting his stand-up comedy career in the early ’90s, he quickly rose to fame with his sharp wit and relatable humor. This success opened doors for him to venture into other areas of entertainment.
He went on to create popular comedic TV series like “Flatmates” and “Papa Benji,” both of which resonated well with audiences and further solidified his status in the industry.
Basketmouth expanded his global presence by signing a deal with Amazon Prime Video, leading to the creation of “LOL: Last One Laughing Naija.” This game show, where comedians compete to maintain a straight face, features Basketmouth as the host and has earned international acclaim, further cementing his status as a leading figure in comedy.
In addition to his TV work, Basketmouth has also appeared in Nollywood films, including Jade Osiberu’s Brotherhood, where he took on the role of the villain, Shadow.
In 2014, he launched his own record label, Barons World Entertainment, and has since released three albums. These include ‘Yabasi,’ a highlife soundtrack for the movie Papa Benji, and ‘Horoscope,’ which features an array of guest artists.
Basketmouth has also produced music for notable Nigerian artists like Asa and Adekunle Gold. In 2023, he released his third studio album, ‘Uburu,’ which showcased collaborations with talents such as Falz, Laycon, Lojay, Shatta Wale, Bayanni, Timi Dakolo, Reminisce, and more.
