According to Delinah Blake Hurwitz, Robert Blake, a well-known actor and Emmy winner who played in the crime drama “Baretta,” has passed away. He was 89.
In an email to CNN, Delinah Blake Hurwitz said that her father passed away on Thursday “peacefully” and “surrounded by family.”
According to his niece Noreen Austin, who issued an obituary notice via a representative, Robert Blake passed away in Los Angeles from heart disease.

Robert Blake accumulated a lot of remarkable credits during his more than 60 years as a working actor, including the 1967 film “In Cold Blood” and David Lynch’s 1997 movie “Lost Highway,” which served as the actor’s last on-screen credit.
Bonny Lee Bakley, Robert Blake’s second wife, was found dead in the San Fernando Valley in 2001.
The actor was cleared of murder charges associated with the crime in 2005.
Afterwards, he was defeated in a civil lawsuit filed by Bakley’s children.
Robert Blake is survived by his three children Rose Bakley, Delinah Blake Hurwitz and Noah Blake.
