Part 2 of the Long awaited BAAD 2017 Wedding finally came around this weekend. Adesuwa Etomi and Banky W finally got their traditional wedding done and to say it was the event of the Month would be quite the understatement. Mr King of the Lagos Party and everyone’s new favourite actress Adesuwa had a wedding party to rival Wedding Parties. Every famous face in town across various age groups were in tow in their Pink Lace dresses and wine agbada’s to celebrate the festivities of what is currently Nigeria’s most well wished couple. And as any real Nigerian knows, second only to bride and groom’s look, the next best part of any wedding is the wedding guests style. How big on style wedding guests go, decor aside is often an indicator of how big a deal a wedding is and BAAD 2017 was huge! Celebrity guests (because when you’re a famous power couple, almost all your guests are famous faces) were dressed to the nines in their custom made soo many things.
I don’t believe I’ve seen these many impressive variations of Pink lace looks. From Idia Aisien and Osas Ajibade and Beverly Naya to Nancy Esoro, Nancy Isime and Omowunmi Akinnifesi. The ladies brought their A plus game. Stephanie Coker brought some stellar Silver magic along with her while Eku Edewor went super demure. Bolanle Olukanni and Kiki Omeili were several shades of cute and Rita Dominic put up a successful rebellion in an over the top Black dress. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu by Popular vote was easily the best dressed guy of the day in a custom Agbada from Ugo Monye that looked like the best thing since sliced bread. Mai Atafo took one for the elegant classic look and Ufoma Mcdermott may have gone a touch too traditional.
