Her marriage with Lanre lasted seven years and produced a son, Olajuwon. Their marriage broke up in 2017 following allegations of domestic violence from Mercy Aigbe’s side and infidelity on both sides.

To the amazement of her online in-laws, in January 2022 she unveiled her man, Kazim Adeoti (D’ Owner) and they got married that same month.
This caused massive controversy online as Kazim was still married to his first wife, Funsho Adeoti. Even though Kazim is a Muslim and permitted to have more than one wife. But why should it be Mercy? According to report Funsho and Mercy were close friends even though Mercy denied being her friend.
Many of their online in-laws saw Mercy as a betrayal, while some doubted the paternity of her son, Olajuwon which she had with Gentry. Some claimed that the child resemble Kazim, and advised Gentry to run a DNA test on his son.

In reaction to the alleged paternity fraud, Lanre Gentry took to his social media page and expressed gratitude to his online family for their advice and stated that Olajuwon is his 100%..
“What is life? I thank everyone for your comments and advice about my lovely son, Olajuwon Gentry. My son is my son 100%, I love him so much and there is nothing in this world that can separate me from my children”, Gentry wrote.
While many users predicted that Mercy and Kazim’s marriage might not last, the couple continue to serve loved-up goals online.
Early this year they both attended Hajj pilgrimage and went on a vacation to the Maldives. They keep peppering their social media followers with pictures in matching attires.
Their marriage seems to be working perfectly but everything seems rosy until we hear of a break up.
