Ay Makun celebrates wife's birthday with awkward post

Comedian, Ay Makun has stirred further speculation about a marital rift between him and his wife, Mabel Makun, with his seemingly unromantic birthday message to her.

Taking to his Instagram page, the Box Office King celebrated Mabel on her birthday without any romantic words, unlike previous birthday posts. Instead, he referred to her as his kids’ mother and said a word of prayer for her.

At first, he captioned his post: “Happy birthday to @realmabelmakun the mother of my lovely kids. May you be blessed with everything your heart desires”.

The actor however edited his caption minutes later and called Mabel the industrious mother of his kids as he prayed for her to remain happy and prayed her new age is loaded with good things.

He wrote

“Happy birthday to @realmabelmakun. The very Industrious Mummy Michelle and Ayomide. I pray that your new year is loaded with every good thing and that you will continue to be happy always with more grace and love in Jesus’ name. Amen”.

Glamsquad recalls that earlier this year, Earlier this year, Mabel, an interior designer hinted at a marital crisis in her marriage after she shared cryptic posts on social media. In the posts, she expressed distress over threats to her well-being. In a subsequent post, Mabel disclosed enduring prolonged mental and overall abuse, stating she had reached her breaking point.

The couple also unfollowed each other on Instagram.  Ay and Mabel have been married for fifteen years and are blessed with two female children.

Meanwhile, a few weeks back, Ay unveiled his son, Denzel on his 16th birthday.

He posted photos of the celebrant on his page and expressed his deep affection, revealing his eagerness to reunite with him.

As anticipated, his post drew scrutiny from many, with netizens flooding his comment section with questions, particularly since he celebrated his first daughter’s 16th birthday just a few days before his son’s.
