“Any new update on Justice for Mohbad” Mary Njoku raises questions among Netizens

Nigerian actress and filmmaker Mary Remmy Njoku has raised questions among Nigerians regarding the latest updates in the Justice for Mohbad movement.

Glamsqaud recalls that Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba better known as Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, tragically passed away at 27 under unclear circumstances on 12th September 2023.

After his demise, circulating videos depicted him being bullied by his former boss and associates. The Nigerian Police are currently investigating to unravel the mystery surrounding his death.

On her Instagram page, Mary, known for her outspoken stance and active advocacy for justice, inquired about the ongoing investigation.

She asked her followers if there were any updates on his case.

Her post read:

“Good morning. Who is awake? Any new update on JusticeforMohbad? Is the investigation still on.”

Captioning her post, she wrote:

“Just need some form of closure. That’s all.”

One Love Fromify wrote: “The case is seriously bungled. His body is held a ransom. Poor guy”

One Agbai Onwuka wrote: “It’s well. I’ve been thinking about this through the holiday. Was it just a media stunt to make everyone believe something was being done?”

One Wanne Bayber wrote: “Me too oo. I don wait tire”

One Odogwu Na Kola wrote: “Those people who jumped on it for clout chasing have messed up the chance of getting indirect justice from Sam and Naira Marley. Instead of going hard on them for bullying and beating Mohbad leading to depression. They went to pursue them in murder which is dead on arrival. Iyabo Ojo needs to take some classes in paralegal and stop jumping on cases anyhow. Back to your question. No updates!!”

One Toluwani Gushi wrote: “Swept under the carpet. Their house is divided so they can not get justice. The father is looking for donations and property. They killed their own case”

Gboyega Akosile wrote “Good morning, the matter is “live” and not “dead”! There are reports by the police but most importantly, they’re waiting for the results of the forensic examination sent to the United States. I’m sure they’d brief us when the results come in. That’s the situation for now.”

One Adeola Monsurat wrote: “May Nigeria never happen to our household”

One Pemisire 2015 wrote: “The last time a lady raised the issue, it does not go well with the Lagos state governor. He was angry saying that people should give credit to the police that they doing something about it. And people that loved what governor was saying start clapping. I guess people are still waiting for the police like the governor said Justice will be served. But we don’t know when. Just giving the summary of the video shown on Instagram.”
